Description
Offered here is this clean and seldom seen early AM/SW radio from Standard in Japan. This SR-107 is an eight-transistor radio which operates well on 4 AA batteries. This radio is in nice cosmetic condition with no chips or cracks and a large reverse painted face.
This package comes with the original leather case which has a pocket on the back for the shortwave antenna. Just screw this antenna into the fixture on top and start surfing the world.
This radio is currently working on AM but I have not been able to pull any shortwave signals. You can hear it play here: MOV00027
The only defect is a cracked battery holder (pictured) which does not affect the radios performance.
