Offered here from my personal collection is this nice early Zenith Royal 755 from 1959. The Royal 755LF is first version of the new 755’s and sports a large rotating handle which has the antenna and can be rotated for the best reception. This model is the only time that Zenith utilized this practice.
This 8 transistor portable measures 9″ wide and is operated on 6 “C” batteries. The battery tube is in nice condition and this radio plays great with nice sound. The leather cabinet has held up nicely and shows no loss of stitching. The chrome metal grill is bright and clean. Known to be great DXers, this one will not disappoint as it pulls across the dial.
