I was given one of these when I was about 9 years old, and it was one of my most treasured possessions. I found it the other day in a box of “junk”. It would not turn on, but after cleaning some corrosion off the switcch contacts, it fired right up. Still very sensitive on the upper end of the band, and still has good sound! Not as pretty as the one pictured, however. My brother had the turquoise model, don’t know what happened to that one.
